New environmental think tank to improve environmental decision making efforts in China: Institute brings together best interdisciplinary talents in environmental science and policy worldwide; collaboration is among international esteemed environmental institutes and Chinese partners

    CHANGES is partnered with State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science; Nanjing University (International Institute for Earth System Science, ESSI); Beijing University (Department of Resources, Environment and Geography; Center for Human and Economic Development Studies, CHEDS); Fudan University (Center for Urban Development); Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (Center for Ecological Economy and Sustainable Development); East China Normal University; International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) in UK; and International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) in Canada. This already existing partnership will make research collaboration much easier and more effective.

    CHANGES has also developed an extensive list of Chinese contacts including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA), China Meteorological Administration, the State Forestry Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
